Laura’s Diary: Birthday week
My name is Laura, I’m an editor here at NSMBL and I run a style blog called The World Looks Red. In my weekly visual diary I will show and tell you what I’ve been up to lately.
Last week was my birthday, but having a birthday party on a Wednesday in a super busy week is never really a success. That’s why instead of one big party, I spread it out over the whole week with lunches, dinners, parties and small get-togethers.
+Birthday celebration #1, lunch with the NSMBL girls.
+Birthday celebration #2, the party continues with cake and bubbles at the office.
+After the gig we got the zoo mascot to take home. Too cute!
+The aquarium.
+Wearing all H&M.
+Breakfast at MOMO in Amsterdam before a Belvedere vodka tasting at 10AM! Apparently it’s best to do a tasting in the morning because you have a cleaner palate. Sooo, if you’re looking for an excuse for your alcoholism…
+Birthday celebration #3, dinner with friends, followed by celebration #4, party at Chicago Social Club.
+Louis Vuitton always has the best window displays!
+My boyfriend is home for a week before he goes away again to record new material in Sweden. Musician boyfriends can be pretty useless sometimes.
+
+Caaake!
+My boyfriend’s band (The Black Atlantic) played at the zoo in Amsterdam. There were tons of kids there who were dancing and invading the stage.
+Sea anemones, really fascinating creatures. I’m really into marine biology as a hobby.
+Sleepy wolf.
+Wearing an H&M sweater and a skirt from Miss Patina
+Vodka cocktails by Belvedere.
+My friend Amanda and I happened to have matching rings.
+I watched Jeff Who Lives At Home and it was one of the loveliest movies I’ve seen in a long time. Great dramedy and I just really love Jason Segel.
+I got this lovely dress from Audrey Grace Boutique.
+Birthday celebration #5, dinner with the boyfriend.-
