Blog Crush Q&A: Lovely by Lucy

We love browsing fashion blogs and every once in a while we come across one that we really love. When we love a blog, we wouldn’t be so selfish as to keep it to ourselves! We’ve already featured Lucy of Lovely By Lucy as one of our favorite blogs, but this time we wanted to find out a bit more about her and her style.

In which ways is your style different from other bloggers?

I tend to really wear what I feel like wearing which doesn’t result in a very definitive style (which I often admire in other girls) but which adds a touch of variation to my outfits. And I always try to make outfits very ‘me’ by for instance wearing sneakers under skirts. Mainly I tend to go for casual sporty chic but it really depends on my mood.

What is the coolest experience that blogging has brought you?

I’ve had a lot of cool experiences but the best thing is to meet so many creative and nice people that I otherwise wouldn’t have met. I’ve really made a few good friends in the industry and that’s more important to me than material things. That also counts for connecting with readers, it’s one of my favorite things about blogging.

What is the favorite piece in your closet?

I shop a lot so I always have ‘favorites of the moment’, which for instance right now are my big oversized coats that will help me survive winter. I also have a pair of Zara boots that I wear all the time, but looking at a longer term I own a pair of Isabel Marant boots and wedge sneakers that I have worn so often. Investing in pieces is really worth it for me, because investment pieces tend to be the ones I wear most in the long run.

Which items will you wear the most upcoming season?

Again probably a few oversized thick coats I’ve added to my closet recently. I’ve been really into anything oversized for the past few weeks and I’m sure that will continue into the next year. Also: statement knits!
